If the 200 email limit per hour was not in place on Nairn then a nice guy from Brazil who hacked someones account would have sent out 520,000 emails from Nairn during the night and the server would now be blacklisted, better being able to send 200 mails an hour than none

Just curious, since following the thread... If you send 1 email to 10 recipients, does that count as 1 or 10 as far as the server goes?

depends on what way you send it, CC'ed counts as one email.

I cannot explain the way to do it in the forums as this will make it easier for the spammers, a quick Google may help

Just wondering - I have several Mailman mailing lists, most have between 200 and 500 users, how does that work with the 200 mails per hour restriction - or is Mailman clever enough to work around this.

Mailman works around it not to worry.
