Norton also announced a new application, Norton Power Eraser to remove fake antivirus malware.

Norton Power Eraser is a new freebie tool designed to detect so-called fake antivirus malware,malware that looks like garden variety antivirus software and tried to coerce you into paying for "full" versions of the software that do nothing at all.


Norton also announced a Bootable Recovery Tool, a tool of last resort for when your PC is so hosed by malware that it won't start up, or your antivirus software won't even work properly. The Bootable Recovery Tool is a free download, but you need to enter a Norton product key in order to use it.

however 3rd party screen grabbers must used a different style of grabbing the screen as these I cannot stop.

If you are not aware , I am coding this in Delphi but when it comes to Windows handles etc I struggle.

However I did find some code regarding the use of GetWindowDC etc here http://www.bitwisemag.com/copy/delphi/delphi1.html but I wouldn't know how to stop such a method from grabbing my application.

"A new release from Web traffic firm Net Applications has revealed that iOS share overtook Linux in July, when it represented 1.06 percent of all Web traffic, verus the 0.93 share of Linux. Apple's mobile platform grew even more in August, when it represented 1.13 percent, compared to a shrinking share for Linux, down to 0.85 percent.

In comparison, Google's Android mobile operating system accounted for 0.2 percent of all Web traffic in the month of August, up from 0.18 percent in July. Android has seen a steady increase in Web presence since it was a minuscule 0.02 percent in October 2009." Full Story

The service also builds playlists based on what friends are listening to.

"It's a social network all about music," said Mr Jobs, launching the application at an event in San Francisco.

"We think this will be really popular very fast because 160 million people can switch it on today," he said.

The service will be accessible through iTunes 10 software on Macs and PCs as well as through the iTunes application on iPhones and the iPod Touch.

Everyone with an iTunes account seems to be in it by default.
